RAVEN
RAVEN is the proprietary problem-solving framework behind every Aragon Group recommendation. It is not software and it does not do the work; it is the disciplined sequence our analysis follows, so that every recommendation is earned by evidence rather than assumed. Five steps, one outcome: your next move, backed by reasoning you can inspect.
Hypotheses come before data. We decide what would have to be true, then gather only the evidence that proves or disproves it. That is the rigor the decision deserves.
Recognize the Problem
We define the business problem clearly and align on the objective. Not the symptom, the problem: “leads are down” is a symptom; the problem statement says what changed, since when, and against what goal.
Then we structure every possible cause so nothing overlaps and nothing gets missed. Most engagements are half won here.
Assess Root Causes
Candidate explanations, not idea lists. Each hypothesis must pass three tests: it explains the outcome, it is testable with evidence, and it leads directly to a decision. If it cannot do all three, it does not advance.
Validate with Evidence
We gather only the data the hypotheses demand: your complete performance history, your competitors’ moves, the demand in your market, outside research. Our own intelligence platform keeps this picture current continuously, not as a snapshot pulled for a pitch.
Each hypothesis is proven, disproven, or refined until the strongest explanation emerges.
Explain Findings
The evidence becomes a clear narrative: what we concluded, the reasoning behind it, and what it means for your business. You never have to take our word for anything. The reasoning is shown.
Navigate Action
The recommended course of action for the month ahead, prioritized by what is most likely to achieve your outcome, delivered in a Decision Brief with the expected result stated in advance, so you can hold us to it.
The results of every recommendation are next month’s evidence.
Improvement compounds. We do not claim certainty; nobody honest can. We claim a process that gets less wrong every time it runs, and a firm that stays at the table while it does.
The first run
If you do not have a marketing strategy, our first pass through RAVEN produces one. That is the plan of attack. Implementing it is the first validation, and from then on we run the framework as your standing advisory rhythm.
Through implementation
We stay at the table while the plan runs, whether the work is executed by our hands or your team’s. And we only execute against strategy we authored: if the decisions were made in someone else’s sales meeting, we are the wrong firm to run them.
Bring us the problem. We will do the analysis.
